FIU Biomedical Engineering
Senior Project Sponsor

Each year our office sponsors a team of seniors from the Florida International University Biomedical engineering program. Doctor buck spends time mentoring the team, providing information required to complete the project, and provides the challenge. In the past couple years the teams have worked on creating a syntonic helmet and an improved functional visual analyzer.

We are looking forward to sponsoring the 2024-2025 team in the near future.

Special Olympics
Twice a year for the past 20 years Dr. Buck closes the office to volunteer her time as a Regional Clinical Director for the Lion's Club International Opening Eyes Program at the Special Olympics.
Recently her staff and students have joined her in her efforts to improve the lives and the vision of those individuals who participate in the Special Olympic Games.

If you know someone who may benefit from participating in the Special Olympics feel free to reach out with any questions and Dr. Buck will be sure to get you in touch with the right folks.
